The DM-Music Vol I - i5 Mic Pack includes the i5 microphone captured across every cabinet, speaker and speaker position in the Volume I collection.

The i5 is one of the brightest and most aggressive microphone options in the range, with a strong upper-mid presence, pronounced attack and a clear, cutting top end. It brings extra edge and immediacy to the cabinet, helping pick attack, palm mutes and high-gain detail stay forward in a dense mix.

It is a strong choice when a tone feels too dark, smooth or recessed, adding clarity and bite while keeping the low end tight and controlled. Across driven and high-gain tones especially, the i5 brings a sharper, more energetic character that can help guitars cut through without relying on additional EQ.

Use it on its own for a bright, direct cabinet sound, or blend it with a darker or fuller Raw microphone capture when you want to retain attack and definition while adding more body to a multi-mic tone.

Pure, unprocessed captures that preserve the natural response of each cabinet, speaker and microphone. Best suited for individual use, blending and detailed tone shaping.

Baked
Subtle resonance control for a faster, more immediately controlled result. Baked IRs are designed to be used individually and should not be stacked or blended with other IRs.
